Bake Sale: The Cancer Awareness Club is hosting a bake sale today at recess in the Student Center.
Attention Freshmen – just kidding – Attention all SI Students: The Christmas Dance is right around the corner. Bids go on sale next week for December 4th’s Holiday Masquerade. Tickets are $20. per person.
Choral Concert: Tickets will go on sale next week in the Student Center.
Performing Arts: Anyone interested in auditioning for any spring performing arts show (Choral, Musical, Student Arts Showcase or instrumental) Come to an informational meeting in Bannan Theatre on Monday Nov. 23 after school. Any questions see Mr. Curry.
College Visit Today: Notre Dame de Namur University at 1:15 in the Counseling Center.
Magis: Please join us today at 1:45 pm in room 109 for the third Magis Movie Day of the year. We will be screening AKA Don Bonus about the experience of a local Cambodian American student from Galileo High School. Food will be served.
Sophomores: Are you seeing the Laramie Project this afternoon? Then come by the gym foyer with your ticket and grab a slice of pizza for one dollar. First come, first served. Special appearance by the sophomore cast members.
Kairos 88 Retreatants and Leaders: Come to a doughnut reunion of your Kairos today at recess in room 210. See you there!
Turkey Trot: The 12th Annual Turkey Trot will take place around Lake Merced on Thanksgiving Day. Registration is “day of” only at 8:30 and the race begins at 9:00. This tradition is open to runners, joggers and walkers of all ages. Students, faculty, alumni, family and friends are welcome to join us for the 4 mile loop around the lake (we will cut the bridge). The first 100 registrants get a Turkey Trot t-shirt. Post race festivities include bagels, juice and throwing the Football. All proceeds benefit the St. Anthony Foundation. Clubs
Dialogue Club: Dinner, ice cream, and a movie on Sunday. Sign up and information in room 203.
Disney Club: Who put the glad in gladiator? Her – cu – les! Come to our screening today after school in the Choral room. Admission is free.
Semper Fi Club: Our Care Package Drive will be running until Tuesday, November 24th. Bring in items such as beef jerky, sunflower seeds, magazines, new socks, to send to the troops serving in Iraq. Boxes are wrapped in silver paper by the dean’s office, room 117 and the 1st floor elevator.
Social Justice 9 & 10: Please meet at recess in room today to move the completed project night night bags downstairs. All members are asked to help complete our project.
Athletics
The Wildcat Readiness Program will resume on Monday 11/23. We will also meet Tuesday 11/24. Regular time: 3-4:30pm. All are welcome!”
Varsity Baseball: Meeting on Monday for anyone interested in trying out for varsity baseball in the spring - 5th period in room 310.
Girls Varsity Volleyball: Your uniform needs to be returned today during recess time. Please turn in your jerseys to Ms. Seppi in the athletic department washed, dried, and in a plastic bag with your name on it.
Fall athletes: With the exception of the varsity cross country teams, please clean out your sport lockers by the end of school Tuesday, November 24th. If you are also playing a winter sport, check in at the athletic office to keep your locker for the upcoming season.
Intramurals
The first annual Ruff House showdown is on! Signup for this 3v3 basketball intramural November 23 and 24th at the first half of 5th period in the new Gym. The tournament is on November 30 – December 3! See you then!
