On Monday at 4^th and 5^th period there will be an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear what they have to say.  Please join us in the old gym at 4^th and 5^th period. This is mandatory for the juniors but all are encouraged to intend.  Make an informed choice!  Voting begins online Tuesday at 8:30 and ends Thursday at the end of 5^th. 

Bake Sale:  At recess in the Student Center.

Driver’s Ed:  Classes begin on Monday, March 22^nd.  Registration forms are available in room 101.  Freshmen are welcome to sign up.

Seniors:  Last chance to vote for the Senior Awards. Check your SI email for the link.  The online poll closes today at noon!

All Students:  Make sure you respond to Inside SI's two polls, one on romance and the other on breakfast in the Commons.  The poll comes down at the end of school today.

Juniors:  Big Cat Frosh Mentor applications are available in Mrs. Murphy’s office.

Need an opportunity to serve? Want to help others AND have fun?  Come and volunteer to be a judge at the SI Middle School Speech Tournament on Saturday, March 27.  We need judges with prior experience, but we will train you to judge speaking events and help direct our middle school guests in this very important speech tournament.   Come sign up in room 119, just inside the door by Friday, March 19. You can email Ms. Miller at nmiller@siprep.org or come see her before/after school to ask any questions. 

SI'S SUMMER SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL:  INFORMATIONAL MEETING TODAY during 6th and 7th, and after 7th in room 120 -- directors from the California Shakespeare Festival will be here today in room 120 to answer any of your questions or see Mr. Devine in room 120.

Magis:  The Magis TA applications are due today by midnight via email or by hard copy by 3:00 pm to the Magis Office.  The application can be found outside of the Magis Office or at www.siprep.org/magis

Magis:  The Magis Movie for today has been postponed until next Friday, March 26^th at 1:45 pm in room 109.  We will screen the movie Amreeka.

CONCERT TONIGHT!!!!!! SI Intermediate Orchestra and Jazz Band will perform tonight in Wiegand from 7-8pm. The concert is FREE!!!!!! There will be a surprise guest vocalist, a saxophone duo that will blow your mind, and the famous Stevie Wonder tune, "superstition". Come out to support out talented musicians!!

Congratulations to the Chamber Singers who earned a Unanimous Superior performance rating at the Napa Valley Invitational Choral Festival on Thursday afternoon!  The “Unanimous” distinction means that all three judges awarded the SI Chamber Singers with a Superior rating – THE highest rating for a musical performance by an ensemble.

Penny Drive:  Seniors & Freshmen VS Sophomore & Juniors – Who can raise more money for cancer research?  Put pennies in your jug and silver coins in the opposing team’s jug.  Adding silver to their jar will subtract their pennies.  Whoever raises the most money will get free dress & an extra touchdown in the powder puff game.  Check your email for more details.   UPDATE:  Seniors and Freshmen are winning right now – sophomores & juniors pick up your game!!

Clubs

CSC:  There will be a meeting today after school.  Meet in front of room 205.  Old & new members welcome!

Surf Club:  Mandatory meeting today at recess.  Be there!

Athletics

Boys’ Lacrosse:  All Yary picture forms must be in the Athletic Office by Friday March 19^th.
